Thanks for coming to my site. Here you will find the basic information about my writing life, my books, and information about my author appearances, and other bits and pieces about writing and reading. I do maintain a blog (actually two) and if you visit those you are apt to hear about where I've been and up-to-date information about my books and inspiration for writing.
Farmer Will Allen and the Growing Table -- one of my recent books has been named to several honor lists -- (Farmer Will Allen and the Growing Table was a finalist for Minnesota's Star of The North Book Award) I am thrilled that readers, librarians, and teachers are adding the book to their bookshelves.
||Farmer Will Allen and the Growing Table was chosen as part of the Read Across the Globe campaign to have 300,000 children read to by volunteers around the world. The Points of Light Foundation inspired and supported by H.W. and Barbara Bush sponsored the effort. The Read Across the Globe campaign supports literacy and volunteerism.
Children from over 30 countries shared the book in an attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for reading.
Farmer Will Allen will be published in paperback, February 2016, in conjunction with African American History Month. Preorder -- or contact Readers To Eaters for bulk orders.
