Travels with Jacqueline Briggs Martin (2007)

As Jacqueline Briggs Martin travels to various locations to visit in schools she encounters some awesome sights (and people). Here are some pictures of some of her favorite scenes and some of the great welcome sights she has seen.

When Jackie visited in Jonesborough, Tennessee, where she was hosted by the Literary Initiative for Appalachia, Inc.   and organizer Diane Bailey --  (what a literacy advocate!), Catherine Simons, and Marilyn Russell, Jackie was able to see the beautiful Nolichucky River.  (Cathy Simons sent these pictures - thanks!)
